Inspirational message in brush lettering

Hand lettering, brush lettering, inspirational quote in calligraphy

I’ve missed a few days of posting.  I’ve been off sharpening and adding to my skills in brush lettering.

Yesterday’s class was spent working with a flat brush and learning some cool techniques.   Only lots of practice, practice, practice will tell if I can pull them off:)

Can’t wait to see what today’s class will bring.

If I am brave enough, and if I actually produce anything I like, I may post some pics of what I learned 🙂

In the meantime, I just wanted to send you a nice message!

The above pic is not something I did in his class but a piece I created several years ago.

Enjoy your day!

Debi

My new calligraphy font,  DomLovesMary  will be released mid October!  The font family features three different versions of the alphabet, a set of “Add Ons” that will include words like “and, to, of, for, at, etc…in addition to 124 flourishes to be added to either the upper or lower case so you can create your own custom look!

It will be released on myfonts.com on my Correspondence Ink foundry page.

I’ll be sponsoring a give away of a wedding item using the DomLovesmary font on Brenda’s blog soon.  Subscribe to my blog to get the details.

In the meantime, my first cursive font, Belluccia is still available at myfonts.com and fontbros.com..

Hi Debi, I always loved this. Did you ever make cards with it? A gal i know in Sugarland just got diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in stage #4. Very sad…already in her lungs and liver. I would love to send her this message. Kim
