Unique Table Seating Chart with Calligraphy on Mirror

It’s so fun to create things that are different and unique.  So I was thrilled when I got the call from a client to create a table seating chart on a beautiful gold framed mirror.  Holly Tripp of Holly Tripp Events was the planner so I have no doubt it was her suggestion.  Her weddings always have wonderfully creative touches.

One thing to note, it’s best to use white ( or gold is another possible option) so that the names will show up no matter what is reflected in the mirror.  As you can see in the second picture, taken at the wedding venue by the lovely Cristina Mappes of Holly Tripp Events, the mirror picks up the reflection of whatever is opposite it.

Have you seen other unique table seating charts?  I’m always looking for something new to try!

Belluccia is now available at fontbros.com!

I’m excited to announce a second home for my calligraphy font, Belluccia at fontbros.com.  Now it can be purchased there as well as at  myfonts.com.  Fontbros has a great selection of fonts for purchase as well as some really cool free fonts!  Some are made by my very talented Correspondence Ink partner, Brian Bonislawsky of Astigmatic One Eye Typographic Institute. Be sure to check them out!

Debi – This turned out so lovely! It was just gorgeous, and a unique way for guests to find their table assignments. Then, the bride and groom have a stunning keepsake of everyone who attended their wedding to boot!

Thanks Holly! Leaving it as a keepsake is a great option. Or If the bride and groom prefer, because of the choice of using a Sharpie Poster Paint pen, the lettering can be washed off leaving a beautiful mirror to hang in their new home.
