Boxed Bachelorette Invitation

Well you know how I love it when a client gives me an idea and lets me run with it.  So, this Bachelorette Invitation project was a blast to create.  The scene: South Miami Beach.  The theme: Leopard and Lace. Think a weekend of fun in the sun, a day on a Yacht, dining, clubbing, lingerie party and spa treatments.  Yeah. I know.  Here’s the pics.

Boxed Invitation Hand lettered in Belluccia style

It all starts with the box. I used a kraft covered self sealing box .  I stamped a lace pattern on it and hand lettered on top in black ink using my Belluccia calligraphy style.  ( Belluccia font available at

"Lace" bikini with rhinestones

Upon opening the box, this “lace” bikini sets the tone with a ring and a note “It’s time to celebrate the ring!”.

Side one of the invitation

After untying the ribbon, you’ll find the invitation bringing both “Leopard and Lace” together.  ( Leopard ribbon and fabric lace wrapped around a black satin like fabric.  Invitation, Agenda and Map are all printed on white shimmer paper using my Belluccia font, flourishes and ornaments.)

Weekend Agenda tucked into ribbon band

Upon turning the invitation over, you’ll find a Weekend Agenda tucked into a band created from ribbon.

The Agenda is removed from the band and turned over to reveal…

Custom "Leopard and Lace" Wet Suit bag

Next, to prepare the guests for the weekend extravaganza, the first party favor is unveiled. A custom personalized “Leopard and Lace” bag to hold their wet bathing suit.  These were beautifully constructed by  Mary of,  A Thread of Grace.  Check out her other cool products!

More party favors

Adding to the list of party favors are:  A custom luggage tag ( made by me) a delicious corsette cookie created by Mary of It’s a Mary Cake   , a pair of leopard sunglasses , lip balm with a leopard cover and a keepsake Christmas ornament shaped like leopard sunglasses !

The total package!

Now if that doesn’t get the party started, I don’t know what will!

What do you think?

Thanks Kim! I still get great comments when I show the invite I created for you. Clients like you, who trust the artist’s talent, are the most fun to work with! You give us the freedom to create!
