Fall Harvest Feast Invitation

I came across this beautiful fall harvest feast invitation at Oh So Beautiful Paper.

Designed by Gus & Ruby Letterpress , it makes me miss the fall from my Pennsylvania roots.

Liz, of  Paper Posy Designs, was the originator of this inspiration shoot.

The shoot took place in an apple orchard and Liz’s vision was all apple pie, cozy blankets, wood texture and a rich, autumnal palette.

Luxe pearl white cotton paper was the perfect canvas for my Belluccia calligraphy font paired with classic roman font and letterpress printed in a deep plummy ink.   The gorgeous multicolor fabric invitation backing was hand sewn using metallic gold thread.

Finally,the piece was wrapped in a double-layer belly band composed of creamy ecru cotton and natural oatmeal linen upon which was letterpress printed an inviting quote.

To top it all off, each envelope was lined with a metallic gold-stripe envelope liner.

Menus at each place setting again featured simple typesetting, lots of white space and the addition of a small wheat graphic ( from my Belluccia flourishes set) and were mounted to a creamy ecru cotton backing paper for a neutral tone on tone effect.

OOOOH and I love this yummy looking currant and chocolate treat with hand sewn card.

The whole suite puts me in the mood for crisp colorful fall leaves crunching under my feet:)

Don’t have much of that in Texas:(

Wedding invitation suite with Belluccia on Oh So Beautiful Paper Blog

This wedding invitation suite with my cursive font, Belluccia, on the”Oh So Beautiful Paper” blog is yet another fabulous creation from designer Jami Dixon of Imaj Design.

This couple travels often to Germany.  Inspired by the pattern on a traditional German folk style dress she saw in a photo of the bride, Jami created a signature pattern that was used as a liner and  backer on the invitation and was incorporated into the wedding program.

A beautiful custom touch!

For the invitation suite, she used natural elemenst while also maintaining a degree of sophistication. A light brown paper with natural grooves and texture was chosen  for the main invitation and an off-white Italian paper with its own impressive texture was used for the accommodations and rsvp cards.

The entire suite was letterpress printed in their signature green color and tied-up with off-white double-scalloped lace.
Jami’s talent with paper and incredible design skills never cease to amaze me!

The cake topper is drawn from the original one used by Dominic and Mary Sementelli on their wedding day September. 6- 1953. 

(They were my in-laws who the font was created to honor.)

Wedding invitaiton in Spanish and English

Jami Dixon of Imaj Design created this custom dual language invitation for her client with Spanish and English-speaking guests.

She incorporated my Belluccia cursive font with a strong serif font and unique talavera patterns and Mayan symbols as a nod to the ceremony style.

The use of a fantastic Mexican pattern for the liner and a beautiful wrap as a finishing touch made this invitation “muy bonita”!

When the guest removed the adorable wrap, they found an invitation entirely in Spanish printed on Vellum.

The response and travel cards were also double sided for the convenience of all guests.

This is an example of great function and design joined together to make a lovely invitation suite – in any language.

Navy and Green wedding theme in Brides of North Texas Magazine

I just want to share this very cool navy and green wedding theme in the latest issue of Brides of North Texas magazine. The three day photo shoot was beautifully coordinated by Sarah Pittman and Trudy Baade of Laniappe Weddings.

The feature is called “Preppy Love” and I was thrilled to see the paper products designed by the talented Jami Dixon of Imaj Design featuring, my script font, Belluccia.

Jami is coming up with all kinds of cool ways to use my font- love it!

You can’t get more “prep” than classic navy and green.  And the invitations design with the bold navy frame, and navy and green stripes plus the great combo of fonts emulates “wedding prep” to a tee.

Love the wedding sign!  Simple, clean and elegant.

The blue plates adds a nice pop of color.  Great detail – the forks tied with coordinated ribbon.

The menu looks classic with the navy and white stripes while the use of Belluccia for the food titles ( Salad, Entrée, Dessert) adds a nice contrast in line and shape.

I especially love how the seating cards were attached to this wide striped ribbon.  How cool!

The ribbon brings in more color and pattern.

And the hanging yellow florals tie in perfectly with the clean, fresh look.

Beautiful Envelopements Wedding Invitation Suite

I previously posted a Save the Date created with the Trellis Collection by Envelopments and featuring my cursive font, Belluccia.  Now you can see the matching wedding invitation suite!

Love the floral covered pocket to hold the accompanying pieces.  And the flower detail on both envelopes and stamp complete this stunning look.

This coordinated set was created by Samantha at Papyrus in Willowbend Mall in Plano, Texas.  Check out the whole Trellis Collection for more clever ideas.

“Oh so Beautiful Paper” posts DIY Letterpress Wedding Invitation

How lovely to see Belluccia used in this fabulous DIY wedding invitation suite on the “Oh so Beautiful Paper” blog.   This creative bride made full use of my cursive font and flourishes to design a romantic heart shaped invite. The complimentary font is called “Telegrafico”.

Nina, the bride, took a letterpress class at The Arm LetterPress in Brooklyn, New York.  Then proceeded to design her invitation suite and book studio time at  The Arm so she could print them herself!  Very impressive!

This RSVP postcard is a perfect fit for the vintage themed wedding.

All the pieces tied up with a lovely string and attached tag.

Coco Chanel Wedding with Belluccia

I’m completely enamored with this Coco Chanel and floral ombre themed wedding from The Event Essentials.

Colorful flowers and delectable ruffle cakes contrast beautifully with the vintage style.

I am particularly in love with all the amazing wedding signage using my cursive font, Belluccia. Check out these great pics!

I love the crisp black and white invitation!  The satin ribbon and rhinestone pin add a nice touch.  Love the way they created the date with my numbers and flourishes.  And I’m not quite sure what the grey metallic backing is made of but isn’t it cool looking?

These adorable perfume bottle inspired place cards are a whimsical addition. I love how Belluccia was used for the word “Mr. or Mrs.” It’s a perfect pairing with the simpler block font.  The white Parisian inspired dresser is the perfect display piece for them.

How amazing is this cake! The striking purple colors blend beautifully in the floral ombre design.

Belluccia dessert table signs are a lovely compliment to the feminine sweets. Clusters of pearls and rhinestones create a unique touch.  Cake Push Pops?  Why yes, I think I will.

Belluccia adds an elegant touch to the crisp menu( the cool metallic backing seen on the invitation is used once again ). The draped pearl and rhinestone design at the top adds a lovely finishing touch.  The black napkin tied with a black satin ribbon creates a dramatic bow to set it all off.

For guests’ favors, an adorable box of meringue cookies was topped off with a Belluccia label,black bow and pearl and rhinestone pin.

Wedding Invitation by Loralee Lewis

How beautiful is this wedding invitation suite from Loralee Lewis?  The deep colors and vintage feel pairs wonderfully with my font, Belluccia, giving this set a timeless look.

Everything looks better finished with a bow.  I love the dusty color of the ribbon that adds to the antique design.

Belluccia font and flourishes are beautifully used throughout this suite:  printed on the envelopes, displaying the bride and groom’s names on the invite, announcing cocktails, dinner, and dancing, and as an accent on the RSVP card.

Page Stationery Wedding Invite with Belluccia

Slate grey, white, and yellow squash come together beautifully in this contemporary wedding invitation suite from Page Stationery.  My cursive font, Belluccia, contrasts wonderfully in white ink against the dark paper and I love the site’s description of this set:  “Classically romantic with a modern twist, this wedding invitation may sweep you off your feet”.

The  positioning of the flourished “RSVP” dramatically highlights all the curves of the letters and the yellow back gives a surprise pop of color.

Don’t you just love the choice of wording ?  “Merriment” and “dinner and dancing” just go together so well!

Lovely Wedding Invite with Belluccia

If you like the idea of a wedding invitation that is simple yet has pizazz, this one from Poppy Pedals is a perfect example.  The clean design and unique color combination do the job beautifully. As always, it’s very cool to see my cursive font, Belluccia, used so well.

My favorite aspect is the unique color combination.  I love the mixture of the pale gray envelope, gray marbled paper, and brick red font.

The element around the single monogram adds a lovely touch.  Simple and sweet.

The minimal use of the red color gives just enough attention to the names, monogram and reception info.
