I previously posted a custom thumb print tree I created for a lovely bride, Kate. She was kind enough to send me her photographer’s pics of the print all filled out as well as an “action” shot. The photos were taken by the talented Dallas based Sarah Kate Photographer.
It’s so nice to know the finished print is now hanging in Kate and John’s home !
Love how the combo of two green stamp colors brings some interest and the beautiful blue highlights the bride and groom’s prints.
It’s cool to see how a few people left their “leaf” print on the grass.
The original tree was hand drawn with pointed pen and Sumi ink on Arches archival paper. At 24″ x 36″ it has enough room to fit 250- 300 thumbprints.
The hand lettering is done in my Belluccia style.
Check out the previous post for stamp pad and pen recommendations.
Here’s the action shot captured by Sarah Kate. Nicely done!
Now, for a limited time, you can have your very own personalized thumb print tree!
As a special give away I will send a PDF drawing of the tree personalized with your wedding names and date to purchasers of my calligraphy font, Belluccia.
You can check out my DIY Wedding and Fonts pages for lots of ideas on how to use Belluccia for all your wedding needs.
Please note, the tree print is for personal use only. I’ll be sure to include instructions on how to enlarge and make it frame ready.
You can either take it to a place like FedEx Kinko’s to have the enlarged print made and mounted on foam core. Or use the Do-It-Yourself instructions that will also be included. This will tell you how to use archival paper and micron pens or markers to create your very own original.
Just purchase Belluccia from myfonts.com starting today, August 13 until Wednesday, August-15. Then fill out the contact form below to share your info with me.
Once proof of purchase has been established, you’ll receive your PDF.
Thanks to Kate and Sarah for sharing the great pics!
- And as always my calligraphy font, Belluccia, one of myfonts Most Popular Fonts for 2011, is available at : myfonts.com and fontbros.com.
